INTO THIN AIR

So why is the title is what it is: into thin air? probably explains the scenery of the narrator’s ambition which was to climb and reach the peak of the mountain.

He is taking a risk which endangers his life and physical health why is he undergoing so much pressure just to climb a mountain?to see the view from up above? Just to feel this astonishing sensation that would probably be a source of inspiration and vivification for him In times he really needs to feel this feeling? Was all of that hardship for the sake of a experiencing an emotion in times of retrospection? Some people really push themselves and put their lives at risk just to fulfill this longing and just to put themselves in that situation and experience the feeling of accomplishment. It didn’t interest him the ordinary pace of life and he didn’t care if he looked like a fool or an idiot or selfish.why??? just to take this adventure? adventure of not climbing this mountain but the adventure of being alive? Even greater than a risk.
